First Day of School!!!
Students were welcomed to the E-3 Ranch by designing and coloring their own cowboy boots. Boots were used throughout the room to brighten the space!!! Next students interviewed a partner and allowed the partner to interview them. Then they went with their partner to the front of the classroom and introduced the other student to the rest of the class. These introductions were video taped.
Next we discussed the classroom rules. While we talked about the rules, a photographer from the Palatka Daily News appeared at our door. He wanted to photograph the class for an article in the newspaper. HOW EXCITING!! (We ended up on the FRONT PAGE!!) After discussions, students were assigned one rule and had to show act out the rule in front of the class. They first had to show the correct way to behave then the wrong way!! They did a great job!!
Finally after lunch, students took a personality survey where they told us some of their favorite things. When the surveys were completed, they used the information to create a frequency table and then transfer that information into a graph. They created the graph with a partner. Again they did an AWESOME job!!! Check out the graphs!!
